Step inside and the indoor braai area sets the tone immediately. Concertina doors fold back when the weather plays along, letting the mountain air in and blurring the line between inside and out. It's a rare feature in the complex, and once you've had a fire going with the doors wide open, you'll understand why it matters. A wood-burning fireplace anchors the living area for the colder Clarens evenings, and when you're done there, a sliding door takes you out to a covered back patio. Front to back, this house breathes.

The open plan layout keeps the kitchen, dining and living areas connected, so whoever is cooking doesn't miss the conversation. A six-seater dining table and a generous L-shaped couch give everyone space to spread out, and the full kitchen has everything you need to cook properly.

Bedroom 1 has a king bed with built-in cupboards and a dresser. Bedroom 2 has two single beds and built-in cupboards. The master bedroom has a king bed, dresser and mirror, with its own en-suite bathroom. All three bedrooms have electric blankets and silent ceiling fans.

The shared bathroom has a bath, shower, basin and toilet. The master en-suite has a shower, basin and toilet.

Fully equipped kitchen for self-catering with a fridge and freezer, four-plate stove and oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, and full cutlery and crockery.

What else

The house has a single garage and one additional parking bay. There's a communal grassed area at the front. A solar and inverter system keeps the lights on when the grid doesn't. WiFi is included. No smoking indoors.
